Tae
Kwon Do Black Belt Essay
(June 3, 2000)
Future
Goals
I
never had any goals for Tae Kwon Do. My main goal was to have
perseverance and to not quit any time soon. This goal I feel
that I have succeeded because I am writing this essay today
and preparing for my black belt test in the very near future.
Goals for after my black belt would be the same as the one
goal that I have now; to continue my training and continue
to learn. I know that I have not, by far, finished anything
and as many of the other black belts, I am just starting to
learn what Tae Kwon Do is.
I
want to learn everything about it and definitely do not want
to forget anything that I have learned here. Maybe I could
be able to pass on the same enthusiasm that was shown to me
by other students who introduced me to the sport. Maybe I
could show someone how to enjoy Tae Kwon Do for a lot more
than just a few kicks and punches that might look good to
an observer.
Tae
Kwon Do has become a very important part of my life and I
wish to keep it this way, because I cannot imagine life without
it anymore; or even if I could, it would be a very empty life
because this is something that I look forward to every day
that I train.
